What started as a blog about playing 40k with Space Wolves is now more of a journal about tabletop gaming in general. Gameplay, games news, unboxings and paint guides - its all fair, well, game. I even got to Salute a couple of weeks ago, expressly to have a chance of picking up a copy at the FW stand. Sadly I was still too late on the day but FW were happy to let me order a copy for home delivery : Cue another week and a half of waiting - and it has arrived! I loved the first volume and have used or adapted several of the techniques described therein on my models I even got the wife to help build and paint a Baneblade with me, using the techniques FW described. But would the second volume in the series be as eye-opening?

Arahn May 25, at Here are my thoughts:. I enjoy these books because they get into the process a bit more than I do on msaterclass blog here most of the time. Personally I was very pleased with this as I have had a bit of trouble using weathering powders in the past and so hopefully this will prove useful.
Will Wright May 2, at 8: Maybe they figure new people will only buy vol 2 from now on. I think it is good that the writers are using whatever paints they feel will get the best results rather than simply pushing the Citadel range.
Fayte May 2, at 8: So back when this book first came up for pre-order I jumped and grabbed a copy missed out getting a signed copies though, damn it! This listing has ended. One if the best parts of this book is each entry gives you a multitude of ideas on how to add to your models.
